Wuxi Grand Theatre is a cultural facility located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu province, covering an area of about 67,600 square meters, with seven floors above ground and one floor below ground. The total construction area is about 78,000 square meters, and the height is more than 50 meters. The building of the Grand Theatre consists of subjective performance hall, comprehensive performance hall and related supporting facilities.

The Wuxi Grand Theatre has a unique shape, which looks like eight wings from a bird's eye view "like a butterfly falling on the city water bank." From the appearance to the interior decoration, advanced materials at home and abroad are used. A large number of glass curtain walls are used in the theater. From the ground, seats and walls, bamboo is used instead of wood. Five of the "eight blades" cover the subjective performance hall, which can accommodate 1,700 people, and three cover the multi-purpose performance hall, which can accommodate 700 people.

As the flagship initiative of Wuxi City to build cultural industry, Wuxi Grand Theatre was founded in 2009, with a total investment of more than one billion yuan, which lasted 3 years to complete. Designed by Finnish designer Pekka Saminen, the Grand Theatre features advanced acoustic technology and facilities designed to provide a world-class cultural experience.

At present, Wuxi Grand Theatre often holds various performances and activities, such as concerts, plays, dances, etc., which attract many audiences to come and watch. In addition, the Grand Theatre also has meeting rooms and banquet halls, which can be used for various business activities and celebrations.
