Lanzhou Military General Hospital (Lanzhou Army General Hospital) is a military general hospital with glorious tradition, founded in 1939, formerly known as the Eighth Route Army Military Hospital, was once named Bethune International Peace Hospital General Hospital. After more than 60 years of construction and development, it has become a large comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and health care in Northwest China.

The General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region has four departments: Medical Department, Political Department, Hospital Department and Nursing Department, as well as 30 clinical departments and 23 medical technical departments. The hospital has 4 military centers in orthopedics, urology, hematology, and family planning, 1 military pharmacology base (approved as a national drug clinical research base on June 1, 2004), 9 military regional specialized centers, and 16 joint training centers for doctoral and master's students.

On June 1, 2004, the former Lankong 473 Hospital was integrated into the General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region as a whole, known as the Anning Branch of Lanzhou General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region. Located in Anning District, Lanzhou City, the hospital was founded in July 1969. After 43 years of development, it has become one of the most influential comprehensive hospitals in Gansu Province.
