Taoxian Airport was founded in 1988, officially opened to traffic on May 28, 1990, the airport terminal area of 187,000 square meters, with 3 terminals, respectively T1, T2 and T3 terminals. The airport runway is 3,200 meters long and 45 meters wide, which can meet the needs of large passenger aircraft.

More than 20 airlines operate at Taoxian Airport, serving many domestic and international cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xiamen, Qingdao and international cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
